Jaipur:After Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala demanded an FIR against senior BJP leader and rebel Congress MLAs, Special Operations Group (SOG) on Friday detained BJP leader Sanjay Jain and interrogated him for 12 hours. Jain was questioned after Congress demanded an FIR against Sanjay Jain and accused him of being involved in 'horse-trading' to topple the Ashok Gehlot-led government in Rajasthan.
Sanjay Jain was interrogated by Ashok Rathod, Additional Director General of Police, along with three more officials at the SOG headquarters. Primary investigation suggests that Sanjay Jain, along with few Congress MLAs and saffron party leaders were allegedly involved in bringing down the Rajasthan state government.
Congress today suspended two party MLAs Vishvendra Singh and Bhanwaralal Sharma as primary members after they were heard in the purported audio clips that were doing rounds on social media. According to sources, the purported sensational tapes that were aired on media have conversations of senior BJP leaders, Bhanwar Lal Sharma, and Sanjay Jain.
