New Delhi: The Congress Party's Rahul Gandhi will hold tractor rallies from October 2 in Punjab and Haryana over three new controversial agricultural laws.
''The Prime Minister of the country has already made it clear that the former system will continue with the new agricultural laws, the work of paddy procurement and lifting the crops have already begun in Haryana. Even today, the crops like millet, maize and mustard are not procured by their government in their ruled states of Punjab and Rajasthan, whereas in Haryana these are purchased as well. In such a situation, the farmers are well aware as to who actually is their well-wisher,'' said Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal
Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said that Rahul Gandhi will not be allowed to enter Haryana. He further added that even prior to this, we had stopped other two demonstrations of the Congress party on the Punjab border itself. And this time also, the state’s atmosphere will not be allowed to be spoiled.
