Puducherry: One dead in crude bomb explosion

One person was killed in a crude bomb explosion in Puducherry on Friday. The incident happened in Kirumampakkam village. Police have reached the spot and an investigation is underway.

Puducherry (Pondicherry): One person was killed in a crude bomb explosion in Kirumampakkam village of Puducherry on Friday. The deceased has been identified as 36-year-old Samba Sivam who is a former Congress Councilor. However, no other person was injured during the explosion.

Unidentified crew members threw bomb which led to the mishap. Angry relatives of the dead are staging an agitation.

Police have reached the spot to take stock of the situation.
