Sexual harassment case against Rajasthan professor

A case has been registered against a professor in Ajmer after a complaint by a female student that he made sexual approaches and threatened her.

Ajmer: A female student in Rajasthan has filed a complaint against her professor which said he sought sexual favours and threatened to fail her in exams.

A police officer in Ajmer Ravinder Singh said the professor forced the student to talk to him. He further said the student became nervous when he threatened to fail her in exams.

"The professor used obscene language in video calls and messages to the student and asked her sexual favours. When the victim protested, the professor again threatened to fail her," Singh said.

Police said that a case has been registered against the professor.
