New Delhi:Congress general secretary for Uttar Pradesh(East) Priyanka Gandhi, who was campaigning in UP, on Monday praised her woman helicopter pilot.
In a tweet, she expressed her excitement in being flown there by a female pilot.
"So Proud to be flown by a lady today, that too in a chopper!" she tweeted sharing a picture with the pilot.
Priyanka Gandhi has taken up women's issue in her political rallies across the state.
After the announcement of Congress party's NYAY scheme. which proposed a minimum income guarantee for the poor, she stated that women across five crore households are going to be the beneficiaries of the scheme.
Women empowerment rhetoric has been at the forefront of Congress's campaign so far were the party promised reservations for women in jobs, education and 33% reservation in the Lok Sabha.
