Present govt spends money with particular outcome in mind: Piyush Goyal at Himachal investors' meet

Addressing a gathering at Global Investors' Meet in Himachal Pradesh's Dharamshala, Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said that the money is spent by the present government with the particular outcome with the focus that the outcome should impact the lives of 1.3 billion people in the country.

During his address at the business event, Goyal said that today the money is spent by the government with the particular outcome with the focus that the outcome should impact the lives of 1.3 billion people in the country.

"Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, we run a government which had an unblemished track record, a zero-tolerance for corruption. It is not important what you spend but it is important what is the outcome of your spending. Every rupee that is spent by the government today is spent with a particular outcome in mind with the focus that the outcome should impact the lives of 1.3 billion people in the country," said Piyush Goyal.
