Minister Pralhad Joshi calls on Jharkhand CM in Delhi

Union Minister for Coal and Mines Pralhad Joshi met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and discussed ways to improve coal mining in the state and also said that Centre is ready to provide all possible aid for development.

New Delhi: Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines Pralhad Joshi called on Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his official residence in the national capital. In a 30-minute long meet, Joshi and Soren discussed matters related to various aspects of coal mining in the state.

Joshi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to the development of the state and welfare of its people. The leaders discussed the difficulties faced by the state in coal mining and Joshi asserted that the Central government is ready to provide all financial assistance.

Joshi and Soren also talked about the steps that need to be taken for the overall development of employees working in coal mines.

The Union minister tweeted, "CM Jharkhand, Shri@HemantSorenJMMji called on me. Discussed matters relating to the mineral-rich State of Jharkhand. The government under PM Shri @NarendraModiji is committed to the development of the State and welfare of its people."

Soren also met Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi in the morning in the presence of Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi and Jharkhand AICC in charge RPN Singh. The meeting comes after the JMM-Congress coalition government completed one year in the state. The leaders discussed ways to strengthen the present government and to expedite various government schemes in the state.
