The epicentre of the ongoing protest for the impungent Citizenship Amendment Act Shaheen Bagh is witnessing a silent protest on Tuesday. AAP candidate Amanatullah Khan from Okhla has emerged victorious defeating BJP's Brahma Singh.
With a silent protest, Shaheen Bagh protestors are tying a black band over their mouths. Placards in the hands of the agitators read, ''Today there will be silence. We do not support any political party. Stay calm." The placards are written in Hindi, English and Urdu languages.
