Poll Alert: Shaheen Bagh witnesses silent protest with NO loudspeakers

The epicentre of the anti CAA protests Shaheen Bagh is witnessing a silent protest today with no use of loudspeakers. Protestors are trying a black band over their mouths with placards in hands stating that they don't support any political party.

New Delhi:Going by the recent trends, Aam Aadmi Party supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is all set to romp home to victory in the national capital. The epicentre of the ongoing protest for the impungent Citizenship Amendment Act Shaheen Bagh is witnessing a silent protest on Tuesday. AAP candidate Amanatullah Khan from Okhla has emerged victorious defeating BJP's Brahma Singh.

With a silent protest, Shaheen Bagh protestors are tying a black band over their mouths. Placards in the hands of the agitators read, ''Today there will be silence. We do not support any political party. Stay calm." The placards are written in Hindi, English and Urdu languages.

With the condition of anonymity, a protestor while speaking to ETV Bharat said that we have cast our vote and our work is over.

Protests against the CAA at Shaheen Bagh have crossed 50 days mark. However, on the polling day, there was a lot of excitement at the venue of the Delhi Assembly elections. But now the scenario is different as protestors are refraining from giving any kind of response.
