Bahraich(Uttar Pradesh): Police personnel faced the ire of residents in Bhagwanpur Mafi area of Bahraich when they went to pick up a suspected corona patient for quaranitne. Atleast two cops were severely injured after a scuffle broke out between a chicken seller and the team of police perssonel when the crowd gathered at the shop were instructed to go home.

According to the reports, cops were attacked by the agigated butcher Abdul , along with his brothers and their wives. Abdul has been arrested and cops have started the investigation.
A case has been registered against the rest of the accused under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code. Cops have been deployed at the spot and security has been beefed up.
