Jaipur:Prahlad Modi, brother of PM Narendra Modi sat on a dharna outside Bagru Police station on NH-8 after police refused to provide him a proper escort. He was provided escort from Dudu along with two PSOs. But soon after reaching Bagru police station escort was terminated.

As per norms, being the brother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he is entitled to security and proper escort. When Prahlad raised this question, police official agreed to provide two security guards but in his own vehicle. He demanded that escort be provided in police's vehicle only to which the police officials refused.

Prahlad refused the officer's offer and took to a sit-in protest outside Bagru Police station. Locals when came to know about the issue they joined him in the Protest. This escalated the issue and officials agreed to Prahlad's demand after three hours.

Police vehicle along with private guards was provided to him for a safe escort.

According to the eyewitnesses, police's behaviour towards Prahlad was inappropriate.
