PM Modi to chair first Cabinet Meet today

First cabinet meeting of the newly formed BJP government will take place later today. Suspense over the portfolio allocation still continues.

New Delhi:After a glittering oath-taking ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the first cabinet meeting with his Council of Ministers later on Friday. According to sources, the cabinet meeting will take place at 5 pm.

Modi along with 57-member council of ministers were sworn in by President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday.

However, the list of portfolios for the new ministers are yet to be announced.
