New Delhi:Not only in India but abroad, Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to be the favourite leader as he crossed 60 million followers on Twitter on Sunday.
Modi, who is known for reaching out to the masses through social media, also uses the platform to connect with his followers and make political statements.
Modi, who started using Twitter in 2009 when he was the chief minister of Gujarat, is following 2,354 accounts, according to his handle @narendramodi. PM Modi's account in September 2019 was followed by 50 million people. His follower count shot up when he became the Prime Minister of India. Within 10 months PM Modi received 10 million followers, becoming the most followed political personalities on the micro-blogging site in India.
