Opposition should apologise for hate speeches that led to Delhi riots: Shahnawaz Hussain

While speaking to ETV Bharat, BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain spoke about the ongoing Madhya Pradesh political drama, ruckus and sloganeering in the parliament over Delhi violence and the hanging of the Nirbhaya gang rape and murder convicts which is due on March 20.

New Delhi:As soon as Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha assembled at 11 AM on Friday, some members of the Congress and other Opposition parties trooped into the well of the House, raising slogans demanding that Home Minister Amit Shah resign over the Delhi violence.

Not only on Friday, but since days both the Houses of the parliament are witnessing sloganeering and protests by members of the Congress and other Opposition parties over the Delhi violence.

While speaking to ETV Bharat, BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said, " Opposition is frustrated and that is why such statements are given by them defaming Home Minister Amit Shah. They apologies for such remarks given by them during CAA protest which led to Delhi violence."

He further added, "Government is creating a ruckus as they know that if Delhi violence is discussed in the parliament, they will be exposed and they will be answerable for it."

Speaking about the drama in Madhya Pradesh politics where Congress alleges that Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is horse-trading their MLAs

The Congress alleged that the opposition BJP took eight MLAs to a hotel in Haryana as part of a conspiracy to topple the Kamal Nath government.

On Thursday morning, the Congress held a press conference in New Delhi, in which it claimed the BJP 'abducted 14 MLAs' to bring down its government in Madhya Pradesh.

In this context, Hussain replied, "Congress leaders are saying that their MLAs can be bought. If they are saying this, what can we do? "

Talking about the hanging of four convicts in the Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case who are supposed to be hanged on March 20 at 5:30 a.m., Hussain said, "Justice has been served. Now, on March 20, they will finally be hanged."

A Delhi court on Thursday again issued fresh death warrants against four convicts in the Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case and for the fourth time set a date for them to be hanged on March 20 at 5.30 a.m.

"It is directed that convicts shall be hanged by the neck until they are dead by on March 20 at 5.30 a.m.," Additional Sessions Judge Dharmendra Rana.

Nirbhaya's mother welcomed the decision and said, "The hanging has already been deferred thrice. I will be satisfied only when they are hanged by the noose."

The case pertains to the brutal gang rape and murder of a 23-year-old woman in the national capital on December 16, 2012.

She died on December 29 at a hospital in Singapore following complications.

Six people, including the four convicts and a juvenile, were named as accused.

Ram Singh, the sixth accused, allegedly committed suicide in Tihar jail days after the trial began in the case.

The juvenile was released in 2015 after spending three years in a correctional home.
