New Delhi:Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that he will be handing over his social media accounts to women who inspire and urged people to share stories of such women with him.
Opposition on Tuesday hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over diverting the nation with the current issues, like Delhi violence and Coronavirus and said that he should quit wasting India's time "playing the clown" with his social media accounts when India is facing an emergency.
While speaking to ETV Bharat, BJP leader Jagdambika Pal condemned the remarks made by opposition on PM Modi's social media exit.
He said, "PM Modi beliefs and admires positivity of social media. Being world's second most popular leader - when it comes to social media, it is an important form of communication."
When asked about PM being emotion during party meeting, he said, " It upsets PM when opposition diverts people and make false statement on CAA."
He further added," Home Minister Amit Shah was ready to answer all the questions, but opposition instead of clarifying are making derogatory remarks and ruckus in the parliament."
Earlier in the day, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla tried to reach a consensus for the smooth operation of the House.
