Madurai: Madras High Court's Madurai Bench posts hearing of a petition relating to ban on the online rummy to November 19 after raising a series of questions. The petition came up for hearing before the bench comprising of justices Kirubakaran and Pugalenthi.

The Bench wanted to know where all the money goes? The bench wanted to know to whose account the money goes into? Judges pointed out the fact that online gambling is banned in Telangana. They also wanted to know whether there have been any attempts by the state to ban online gambling through legislation/laws?

"We hope TN govt will take necessary steps to ban this online gambling in the next 10 days", the Bench said while postponing the trade while posting the matter to Nov 19 for hearing.
