Madhya Pradesh:Prayer meets are often a sad and heartbreaking for those left by their dearly departed ones, but this son from Madhya Pradesh made sure that he used the sorrowful occasion to send out a positive message dedicated to saving mother earth.
Manish Kumar, a Non-Resident Indian, who lives in Durban England, arrived in India to pay homage to his dead mother. He wanted to do something special to honour the woman who had been a support system for him all his life, and what better than adding a little green to this world?
Kumar gifted a sapling to each person who attended his mother's prayer meeting. The idea behind this noble gesture is to preserve his mother's memories by the means of those saplings while also contributing to a greener world.
"This way, everybody who loved her will have something to remember her by," he said.
