New Delhi: Calling RJD the 'rejected stuff', JD(U) on Monday said the NDA was strong like a 'mountain' and there was no point in going back to the 'Mahagathbandhan' (grand alliance) in Bihar.
Speaking to the ETV Bharat here, JD (U) national spokesperson KC Tyagi clarified that his party would not have any political business with the RJD as it was 'rejected' by the JD(U) and its leader Nitish Kumar as the party leaders were booked for corruption cases.
"Situation remains the same. The RJD leaders still have corruption cases pending against them. How can we even think of joining hands with the RJD," Tyagi asked, adding that "NDA will contest Bihar assembly elections next year under the leadership of Nitish Kumar".
He was responding to the charges by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, who reportedly had described Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as a 'chameleon-like' character and ruled out any possibility in the future of him returning to the secular alliance fold.
