New Delhi:The JD(U) on Friday stressed that incumbent chief minister Nitish Kumar remains its top choice for a chief ministerial candidate for next state assembly elections.
Speaking to the ETV Bharat here, Bihar minister and senior JD(U) leader Jai Kumar Singh said his party considers deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi as part of the top BJP leadership and his word that Nitish Kumar would be the next chief ministerial candidate is final for us.
He was reacting to the on-going controversy on the issue wherein BJP leaders recently mentioned that Sushil Kumar Modi had no authority on issues like these and only the "top leadership of the party would decide who would the one".
