New Delhi:The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday filed chargesheet in the NIA Special Court at Bengaluru against 11 Jammat ul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) accused in connection with the JMB Bengaluru module case according to the NIA media communique.
The NIA's press note states that it had filed a charge-sheet against eleven accused including the prime accused Najir Sheikh alias Patla Anas (25), a resident of Murshidabad District, West Bengal.
" Also, the charge-dheet has been framed agsinst Arif Hussain alias Mota Anas (24) from, Barpeta District, Assam, Asif Ikbal alias Nadem (23) from Murshidabad District, West Bengal, Jahidul Islam alias Kausar (40), from Maymansingh Division (New), Dhaka (Old), Bangladesh, Kador Kazi alias Mijanur Rahaman, aged about 33 years, Birbhum District, West Bengal, Habibur Rahaman Sk alias Talha, aged about 28 years, from Birbhum District, West Bengal, Md Dilwar Hossain alias Umar aged about 28 years, Malda District, West Bengal,Mustafizur Rahman alias Tuhil, aged about 39 years, from Birbhum District, West Bengal, Adil Sheikh alias Asadullah (27) of Murshidabad District, West Bengal, Abdul Karim alias Korim Sk aged about 21 years, of Murshidabad District, West Bengal and Mosaraf Hossain alias Hossain, aged about 22 years of Murshidabad District, West Bengal, under sections 120B r/w 395, 452, 468, 471 of IPC, Sections 17, 18, 18A, 18B, 19, 20, 21, 23 of the UA (P) Act, 1967, Section 25(1A) of Arms Act and Section 14A of the Foreigners Act 1946 in JMB Bengaluru Module Case in the NIA Special Court, Bengaluru, Karnataka," the NIA said in its press note.
Further it had added, The Case was initially registered as 34, 121, 121A r/w 120B of IPC and Sections 18 of UA (P) Act, 1967 at Soladevanahalli Police Station,Bengaluru.
" The same was later re-registered as instant case under sections 34, 121, 121A r/w 120B of IPC and Sections 18, 38 and 40 of UA (P) Act, 1967, relating to seizure of incriminating material like electrical & electronic items, tools, chemical apparatus, containers etc. generally used for making of bombs and IEDs from a house in Chikkabanavara, Bengaluru rented and used by JMB Members on July 8, reveals.
