New Delhi: Two booked for celebratory firing in wedding ceremony

Delhi police files case against a doctor and an advocate for celebratory firing at a wedding function in Shahdara. A mobile video of the incident went viral on social media. Case has been registered and a hunt is on to nab the accused.

New Delhi:A video of two men brandishing and firing their guns in Shahdara has gone viral on social media following which a case was registered, the Delhi Police said on Sunday.

Police stated that the incident took place on June 21 when the two men were seen firing gunshots twice. They first fired inside the premises of the banquet hall where people were dancing and then fired in an open area of Shahdara's Muskaan Chowk.

"A mobile video recorded the two men with guns, opening fire in Shahdara," said a senior police officer.

Police have identified the two accused as doctor Jugnoo and advocate Harsh.

An investigation is underway and a hunt is on to nab the accused.
