Lucknow:After few raised questions over the legality of BJP's IT Cell chief Amit Malviya sharing the identity of the 19-year-old alleged Hathras gang-rape victim who succumbed to injuries, the National Commission for Women (NCW) chief Rekha Sharma said it will send notice to all those who shared the identity
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Sharma said that it was illegal and unfortunate for Bharatiya Janata Party IT Cell head Amit Malviya to have shared a video on Twitter of the 20-year-old victim.
She not only pointed out Malviya, but also Congress leader Digvijaya Singh, Bollywood actor Swara Bhasker and many others who revealed the identity of the victim on social media and at Jantar Mantar during protests.
Sharma further stated that the report is not clear on rape and the Court has also taken Suo Motu cognizance.
