New Delhi: With few months left for Maharashtra assembly elections, Nationalist Congress Party MP Majeed Memon on Monday claimed that just like Lok Sabha polls, his party will contest assembly elections in the state with Congress.
Speaking exclusively to ETV Bharat, the NCP Member of Parliament from Rajya Sabha said, "Both NCP and Congress have plans to contest assembly elections together just like the Lok Sabha polls as we don't want secular votes to be divided and let Shiv Sena-BJP alliance have any advantage."
The NCP MP also confirmed that senior leaders from both parties are in talks with each other to finalise the modalities.
