Hyderabad:As Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to form the government with a sweeping majority and a crystal clear mandate, rest can be assured that party has won the 'Iron throne.'

Just as the election trends kept pouring in, the Indian Twitterati was quick to compare the polls with the recently concluded popular American series - The Game of Thrones, drawing parallels to the latter's characters and storyline.

With BJP dominating prominent states like Rajasthan, Gujarat, Chattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh the prophecy came true - 'The North Remembers', said a tweet from a random netizen.

Besides, the revival of DMK in Tamil Nadu and the failure of NDA alliance to open its account in Kerala truly reflects the words of 'Lady Sansa'.

"The South will remain an independent kingdom", the Lady of Winterfell had said.

The battle was not about unemployment, economic reforms or agrarian crisis. It was more about the charisma of Narendra Modi.

The thumping majority made the supporters jubilant and NaMo was hailed as the 'Breaker of Chains' and 'Harbinger of Vikas'.

His politically astute "Hand of the King," Amit Shah might just have delivered him an electoral landslide, but it remains to be seen whether the "First of his Name" can take India to new heights.
