Warangal(Telangana): Mystery shrouded Telangana's Warangal after eight migrant workers were found dead in a mysterious condition in a well, leaving the residents of the area in a rude jolt. A day after the bodies were fished out, trigerring panic in the area, policemen have sent the bodies for autopsy.
While four bodies were recovered from the well at Gorrekunta village on Thursday, five bodies were pulled out on Friday, making it more complex for the cops to unravel the mystery. The dead include six members of a migrant family from West Bengal, two workers from Bihar and a local resident.
Police found no external injuries on the bodies and suspect it to be mass murder or suicide. However, autopsy reports are awaited.
The bodies of Mohammed Maqsood (56), who was working in gunny bag stitching shop in Warangal, his wife Nisha (48), their daughter Bushra (24) and three year old grandson were recovered from the well late Thursday.
The rescue workers found five more bodies on Friday which included Maqsood's son named Shabaz(21), Sohail(20) and Shakeel, a local resident who worked as driver in a nearby factory. Bodies of Sriram(35), Shyam(40) were also recovered from the well.
Police informed that Maqsood and his family hailed from West Bengal and Sriram and Shyam were from Bihar. Shakeel was a local who worked as driver in a nearby factory.
