Dr. Roy Patankar, the owner of Zen Multispeciality Hospital and Joy Hospital in Mumbai, has donated 100 hospital beds for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.

Mumbai (Maharashtra): As India fights the COVID-19 pandemic, a doctor in Mumbai has set an example by donating his 100 beds hospital for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.

In Mumbai's Chembur area, Zen Multispeciality Hospital and Joy Hospital's owner, Dr. Roy Patankar has donated at least 100 beds to handle an influx of patients with the spread of COVID-19.

Both hospitals have an occupancy of 100 beds. Due to some legal issues, Joy hospital was shut for the past three years.

In such a gloomy situation, there's a huge need for places where the patients can be quarantined and treated. Hence Dr. Patankar has decided to donate the hospital for a quarantine facility.
