New Delhi: Vikassheel Insaan Party Chief Mukesh Sahani met senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel here to discuss the issue of electoral strategy, seat-sharing following upcoming Bihar elections.
According to sources, Mukesh Sahni has sought to contest elections on 25 seats. He has also sought the post of Deputy CM if UPA comes to power in Bihar.
Sahni further has demanded that as some parties have left the alliance VIP should get to contest elections on 25 seats.
As the Bihar elections are coming near there is a political upheaval in the state.
Former CM and national President of Hindustani Awam Morcha Jitan Ram Manjhi has left the Grand Alliance and joined NDA.

According to sources, RLSP chief Upendra Kushwaha is also seeking 35 seats in the grand alliance.
The alliance is not ready to accept Tejashwi Yadav as face for CM candidate. RJD is ignoring Upendra Kushwaha's demand. They too can join the NDA soon.
Meanwhile, Congress screening committee chairman Avinash Pandey has said that if the RJD and Congress do not come on terms regarding CM candidature then congress may alone contest the elections.
Assembly elections in Bihar are to be held in three phases.
Voting for the first phase is scheduled on October 28. Voting is to be held on November 3 for the second phase and on November 7 for the third phase.
The results will be declared on 10 November.
