Jigni (Madhya Pradesh):Maulana Ramzani Bhai Chaturvedi, a 65-year-old Muslim man in Madhya Pradesh's Jigni village has been reciting Ramayan for years.
Moreover, he knows 7 different languages and has deep knowledge of the Quran, Gita, Ramayana along the four Vedas.
He remembers these religious books by heart and he delivers the messages of the holy books to the people.
Not only the residents of Jigani village but the residents of the nearby villages, both Hindu and Muslim calls Maulana Saheb in their religious functions.
In the history of Jigni village in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh, there has been no record of any kind of communal fight or hatred.
Residents of the village say it is because of Maulana Ramzani Bhai Chaturvedi, who spreads the message of love and brotherhood.
He resides Ramayana in Hindu homes and Quran in the Muslim houses.
Although he espouses Islam, he never considered any one religion superior to others or abstained himself from worshipping gods and deities revered in Hindu religion. That’s where he derived a liking towards other faiths too.
A resident while talking to ETV Bharat said, "He knows these Holy scriptures by heart that he doesn't need to refer to the book while reading them. This is the reason why villagers of Jigani village and the nearby areas invites Maulana Sahab to recite their holy scriptures."
