Mosques in the valley are being used by Pakistan, says security Expert

Commenting on the government decision to check Madarsas and Mosques, Security expert Major General PK Sehgal (Retd) said that the Mosques and Madrasas are allowing Pakistani militants to use the place to raise terrorism in the country.

New Delhi:After Government has asked for details of mosques and their management in the Kashmir valley, Security expert Major General PK Sehgal (Retd) stated that Mosques and Madrasas are allowing Pakistani militants to use the place to raise terrorism in the country.

In an interview with ETV Bharat, Major General said, "All steps are being taken to strengthen the security setup in Jammu and Kashmir. As the Independence day is very close, we cannot accept any security breach that helps Pakistan to spread mischief in our country."

He further stated that the security personnel always get the inputs of having militants inside the Mosques of the valley.

I feel very disappointed after watching local as well as national political parties to comment on the security decisions just to gain political favour of the voters, he said.
