Minor girl thrashed, molested in UP; police intervenes after video goes viral

In a video that has gone viral across social media platforms, a minor girl can be seen being beaten up and molested by a boy in Uttar Pradesh. The video was allegedly shot and circulated by the culprit.

Uttar Pradesh:A minor girl was allegedly thrashed and molested in Zafarabad area of Uttar Pradesh. The incident came to the fore after the accused shot the heinous crime on camera and circulated the video across social media platforms.

Soon after learning about the video, the police registered a case and began the investigation by constituting a special team.

"A video has gone viral in which a boy is beating up and molesting a minor girl. We have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case. A team has been constituted to arrest the culprit," said VK Mishra, Superintendent of Police of a district in Uttar Pradesh.
