New Delhi:Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Monday unveiled a series of new initiatives by the Ministry of Electronics and Information in the first start-up summit held at New Delhi.
Ravi Shankar Prasad stressed that there is a great maturity of a movement called 'Digital India' under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Union Minister of Law and Justice, Communications and Electronics and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad Stressing on the importance of startups, he said that if India cannot grow without startups. He said that steps are being taken to include startups in e-procurement portal of Government of India.
He also stressed the need for pairing common women of India for successful digital inclusion process. The common service centres are already doing great a job in empowering women.
The Union minister awarded the selected faints and banks in promotion of digital landscape in-country and also awarded outstanding women tech entrepreneurs. He also launched TIDE 2.0 and BHIM 2.0.
