New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday ordered the states to file replies about compliance of its earlier order regarding steps taken for migrants within three weeks.
The bench led by Justice Ashok Bhushan was hearing a suo moto case initiated on miseries and problems of migrants.
Earlier, the court had passed certain directions for the governments to follow pertaining to care of migrants. There were objections raised by the petitioners on non compliance of those directions after which the court asked states to file the status reports.
Today, the apex court observed that states have not filed complete information and gave them three more weeks to file their reports.
