Dr Costa was the deputy director of that team and was also serving as the principal technical officer in the organisation. He also worked with ISRO's Department of Information Technology. Later, he served as the vice-chancellor of Rani Durgavati University in Jabalpur. He has over 100 research papers to his credit. Even now, he is associated with three different universities.

Contesting treatment of a disease through vedic chants, Dr Costa explains that an ailment is nothing but a result of anomalous chemical reactions in the body. Doctors prescribe medicines to facilitate the desired chemical reactions. Vedic chants also do the same.

"Actually, it is a matter of faith. People believe in their religion and Gods, and involvement in religious activities inculcates positivity in them. This positivity brings the anomalous chemical reactions to a halt and produces good harmones which lead to healthy body and peaceful mind.

Besides science, Dr Costa loves to learn about spirituality and religion. This is why he built a temple in Garha area and now the temple has become a center to treat ailments through vedic chants and other religious activities. There are idols of several Gods and Goddesses and people worship the God they believe in.

"It is faith which makes these chants a success and I have seen people getting rid of their long time illness," said Dr Costa. He has profusely learnt about both science and spirituality and now is using the craft to benefit those in need.
