Commenting on the letter sent by Pakistan Minister Shireen Mazari to the United Nations, he said," The letter is not even worth the paper on which it was written. Don’t want to give credence to it by reacting."

He criticised Pakistan for using terror as its state policy and demanded action on its part against the terror groups operating on its soil.

"It is important for them (Pakistan) to now start behaving like a normal neighbour. What do normal neighbours do? You don't push terrorists into a neighbouring country. You do normal talk, normal trade. This is not something which is happening from Pakistan," added MEA spokesperson.

On the issue of Jammu and Kashmir, Raveesh Kumar said, "Not even in one incident any hospital has reported a shortage of drug or of any disposable item. Not a single life has been lost, not a single bullet has been fired. There has been gradual but positive improvement in situation on ground."

The MEA spokesperson denied any sort of communication from Pakistan regarding the closure of airspace from and to India.

Though he added saying that India is in constant touch with Pakistan via diplomatic channels for providing unimpeded and non-interfering consular access to Kulbhushan Jadhav.
