Patna:A loud boom sound was heard by the residents of Sultanganj on Sunday night which triggered panic among the locals.
The incident captured on CCTV footage revealed that three men with a bag of flammable materials were seen near Dargah Road belonging to Sultanganj Police station. The bag accidentally fell on the road leading to series of blasts in which one of them was seriously injured.

The incident created a speculation that the trio was planning an attack in the area. Upon learning of the incident, the police personnel swung into action and reached the spot.

Cops said that one man was grievously injured during the accident while two others made an easy escape.
The injured, identified as Mohammad Nadeem who is a resident of Kasim Colony, was immediately rushed to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) for emergency care. They stated that efforts are on to nab the rest of the accused and they have launched a probe into the matter adding that an investigation is underway.
