Sehore (MP):A cow and a bull were united into holy matrimony as per Hindu traditions in Karamankhedi village of Jawar tehsil in the Madhya Pradesh on Sunday.

Villagers considered the duo to be the incarnation of Kamadhenu and Nandi. Kamadhenu is a divine bovine-goddess described in Hinduism also known as Gou Mata while Nandi is the sacred bull calf and vehicle of the Hindu god Shiva.

According to the village Sarpanch, Arjun Singh Thakur, "About two months ago, a calf and heifer came to Karamankhedi village and since then they were staying together. After observing the animals' affinity towards each other, we decided to get them married."
