Lucknow:Voting begins for 91 constituencies in 20 states and union territories in the 1st phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019 on Thursday.
LS polls 2019: 63.69 per cent voter turnout in UP in 1st phase
The first phase of the election saw voting in 20 states, including Uttar Pradesh. Considering its huge population and vast geographical area, polling in UP will take place in each of the 7 phases of election 2019.

In Uttar Pradesh, the first phase of polls was held on eight Parliamentary seats, including Saharanpur, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Meerut, Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar. The polling took place between 7 am to 6 pm with 63.69 per cent voter turnout in UP in 1st phase.
