Krishnagiri (Tamil Nadu): Doctors at Coimbatore Medical college removed a knife from the chest of a woman on May 27th after she was stabbed by her neighbour on May 25th.
The woman was stabbed by her neighbour in the evening and she remained in the house with the knife in her chest for the entire night. She was later admitted to Government Medical College in Salem the next morning on Mayday. She was later referred to Coimbatore Medical College.
The knife was removed after 30 hours in a three-hour-long surgery under the guidance of Cardiothoracic Surgery and Anesthesiology Department.
