2 children killed in land mine blast

Utter negligence led to death of 2 children in a land mine blast in the Ambad taluka of Valkheda district on Tuesday evening.

Maharashtra:Two children died in a land mine blast in the Ambad taluka of Valkheda district. The incident took place on Tuesday evening when the two brothers, Shubham Ravindra Dhotre, 8, and Shivraj Ravindra Dhotre, 6, were sitting in a shade due to the heat.

Meanwhile, a sudden blast took place killing the kids on the spot.

Their parents work in the same land mine and were operating a tractor when the mishap took place.

Police blamed the land mine operator for the negligence. The bodies of both the children have been admitted to Ambad sub-district hospital.
