Karnataka talents behind COVID-19 caller tune in Kannada and Malayalam

Skilled voice over artists from Dakshina Kannada district are the voices behind Kannada and Malayalam caller tune on COVID-19.

Bengaluru: Talented voice over artistes from Dakshina Kannada district have lent their voices in Kannada and Malayalam for the caller tune on coronavirus awareness, a source said on Saturday.

The awareness message has been composed in three phases in Kannada. For the first phase, Darrel Jacintha Fernandes of Mangaluru origin has given her voice while for the second and third phase Vidya Narayan Bhat of Muliya in Vittal has lent her voice. On the other hand, another eminent voice-over artist Tintumol Joseph is the voice behind COVID-19 caller tune in Malayalam.

"Keralites from across the world are appreciating my contribution. And I am humbled by their love. Even in these desperate times people are making the effort to kind of appreciate my work and that gives me joy," Tintumol Joseph added, she has been a voice-over artist for several government-sponsored advertisements.
