Karnataka: Four fake cops raid house, escape with gold, money

Four fake cops raided a house in Hassan district of Karnataka and escaped with a huge amount of money and gold ornaments. The police have registered a case and launched a hunt to nab the fraudsters.

Hassan (Karnataka):A four-member fake police gang raided a house in Hassan district of Karnataka. They escaped with a huge amount of money and gold ornaments.

The incident took place at the house of Lavanna Gowda of Hosur village in Channarayapatna taluk of Hassan district.

The family informed the police that on Aug 17th, four fake cops came at their house alleging that their brother has robbed a house in Banglore and was hiding and in regard to this they have to make a search.

Later, the fraudsters took all the money, gold, silver ornaments saying that they were taking them to the police station for testing and later they escaped, the family informed.

Following a complaint, the police have registered a case and launched a hunt to nab the fraudsters.
