Karnataka CM's political secretary N R Santosh attempts suicide

Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa's political secretary NR Santosh on Friday attempted suicide at his residence in Dollars colony.

Bangalore: N R Santosh, the political secretary to chief minister BS Yediyurappa attempted suicide by consuming sleeping pills at his Dollars Colony residence in Bangalore on Friday.

Santosh has been admitted to MS Ramaiah Hospital.

According to the sources, Santosh was suffering from depression from the past few days. However, the hospital has not given any statement regarding the case.

CM Yediyurappa visited the hospital and said, "Now his condition is stable, doctors are treating him, but I don't know why he did this".

Santosh was appointed to the post of political secretary to the CM in May this year and he had played a key role in Operation Kamala.
