Javed Jaffrey said that hatred is spreading rapidly in the country.

Someone named Arvind Patel had shared a screenshot of a tweet by Javed Jaffrey on his Facebook page which was fake. Tweeted in his name, the tweet said: "It is not necessary that all Muslims selling spitted upon fruits and vegetables are affected by corona, yet some Hindu are boycotting Muslims stall owners to spread hate, why are you so biased."

Someone cleverly wrote the tweet, attributing it to Javed Jaffrey and posted it on social media, and the screenshot went viral.

Late night Javed Jaffrey released a video, dismissing the tweet and asked the user who posted the screenshot to apologize.

In addition, he also appealed to those who responded to the screenshot that they should verify the authenticity of such a screenshot.
