Jaipur: Man stabbed to death after verbal spat over card game

A man was killed after a spat over the card of games turned into an ugly spat in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Police arrested one of the main accused in the murder while two others are absconding.

Jaipur (Rajasthan): A young man was killed after being stabbed with a knife in Jaipur Rajasthan following a spat over card game which turned into an ugly fight.

The incident took place in Dungri of Fakiro of Brahmapuri police station area after which panic gripped the whole area.

According to the eyewitnesses, a minor scuffle started between some people while playing a game of cards which turned ugly following which Ashfaq was stabbed with the knife by the other three men.

Ashfaq was rushed to the Sawai Man Singh Hospital in a serious condition where doctors declared him brought dead.

After the incident police reached the spot and whole area was secured.

Police arrested one of the main accused in the murder while two others were also booked.

The other two accused Munna and Abid are still absconding.

While talking to ETV Bharat, Sumit Gupta Additional DCP North Jaipur said that Shaira Bano, the sister of the deceased, has filed a report against 3 people. The police took quick action and arrested the main accused.

Police has filed a case of murder and further investigation is on.
