Jaganmohan Reddy to meet Amit Shah today

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy will meet Amit Shah to hold talks on various issues including the Special Category Status for his state.

New Delhi:Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss special status and other related issues.

Jagan has been in constant touch with the Centre following his swearing-in as the Chief Minister.

The state is going through a rough economic patch following the bifurcation and slow pace of infrastructure development in the proposed capital Amaravati.

The YSR Congress came to power following the pitch for a better Andhra Pradesh.

However, the special category status still remains a debate point between the state and the Centre.
