Srinagar:Two security force personnel and four civilians were injured in a grenade attack at Pakherpora area of central Kashmir's Budgam district, officials said on Tuesday.
"At around 12:30 pm, militants lobbed a grenade at the joint party of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Jammu and Kashmir Police deployed in Pakherpora market," Pankaj Singh, a CRPF Spokesperson based in Srinagar told ETV Bharat.
He further said, "Constable Santosh Kumar of 181BN CRPF and ASI Ghulam Rasool alias Dilawar of Jammu and Kashmir Police were injured in the attack. Four pedestrians also sustained minor splinter injuries during the incident."
"All injured were taken to nearby Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Pakherpora for treatment where their condition is said to be stable," the spokesperson added.
