New Delhi:Worship by Hindus at the disputed site in Ayodhya has been accepted by Muslim witnesses in the case, the Hindu parties' counsel said at the hearing in the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, Hari Shanker Jain from the Hindu Mahasabha said that the evidence submitted showed that Hindus visited the site regularly for pooja and parikrama and it was even admitted by the Muslims.
Continuing his submissions in the apex court, Advocate CS Vaidyanathan appearing for Ram Lalla, said that after the demolition of the mosque, the slab was recovered which had inscriptions in Sanskrit. The inscriptions show that it was built in 12th century BC by the king of Gaharwar dynasty for Vishnu Hari. The Muslim party is doubtful about the recovery of the slab after the demolition.
Vaidyanathan further submitting said that there is intrinsic evidence in the slabs that refer to the temple.
