New Delhi:Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief spokesperson and MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj on Monday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of being a mute spectator over the killing of 500 people from a particular community in the last two years in Uttar Pradesh.
He further alleged those who had been killed in the last two years, either belong to the Dalit community or the upper class.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief spokesperson and MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj during a press conference at party headquarter in Delhi Following the alleged murder of former MLA Nirvendra Kumar Mishra in Lakhimpur Kheri, he asked whether there was any law and order in the state.
The way the senior leader was killed, clearly depicts the condition of law and order in the state, Bhardwai said.
"His son is seriously injured and I pray for his speedy recovery. There should be strict action against the accused so that people's faith in the law is restored," he said.
"The UP government should also take action against those police personnel who are not able to establish law and order in Lakhimpur Kheri," Bhardwaj added.
