Jharkhand's Kundan Kumar Ojha was among the two India Army soldiers who martyred during a face-off between India and China in the Galwan valley. The martyr is survived by his wife and a 17-day old daughter.

Sahebganj (Jharkhand):Kundan Kumar Ojha from Jharkhand was among the Army personnel who martyred during a stand-off between India and China in the Galwan valley in Eastern Ladakh on Monday night.

An Indian Army officer and two soldiers were killed in the Galwan Valley face-off amid escalating tension.

Ojha was a native of Dehari village in Sadar block of Sahebganj district under Mufasil police station limits.

Kundan was attached to Bihar Regiment Katihar in 2012 and got married in the year 2017. His wife gave birth to a baby girl 17 days ago.

As per his father, who is a farmer by profession, stated that Kundan last visited his home five months ago and he had a word with him over a call 15 days back.
