Indo-American organises Rs 51 lakh by crowdfunding for Kamlesh Tiwari's Family

An Indo American resident, Ratnesh Mishra started crowdfunding for deceased President of Hindu Samaj Party Kamlesh Tiwari's family and successfully collected 51 Lakh rupees till now.

Indo American organises 51 lakh by crowdfunding for deceased Hindu leader’s family

Lucknow: Kamlesh Tiwari, President of Hindu Samaj Party was murdered at his Lucknow residence on 18 October. After the incident, when the Uttar Pradesh Government was mulling over giving compensation to the family, Ratnesh Mishra, an Indo American resident started crowdfunding for the bereaved family.

Crowdfunding campaign which started on an online platform has so far reached to 51 Lakh rupees, and it continues.

After Ratnesh initiated this campaign to help the family of Kamlesh, residents of America have so far contributed 51 lakh rupees to the cause. The funds have been transferred to the account of Kamlesh’s son Satyam through online platform kettu.com

What Ratnesh says about the campaign

Ratnesh Mishra while talking to ETV Bharat over the phone said “I initiated this campaign when we came to know about the financial condition of the bereaved family. Through this, we have so far raised funds to the tune of 51 lakhs which have been transferred to the family. The campaign was made on kettu.com which is a platform on Facebook, and we were joined by thousands of people from all walks of life. ”

The money is transferred to the account of Kamlesh’s son and Ratnesh feels that it will help the family in some way to live a good life.

On spreading the campaign via a video message Ratnesh says that he is not looking for any publicity through this. He has initiated this campaign to help the family of a deceased Hindu leader.

Satyam, the son of Kamlesh says “This campaign was started a few days before Diwali. We have got a decent amount of fund through the same. I thank the people who have helped us and in particular Ratnesh who initiated the campaign.”
