India stands united against COVID-19: Amit Shah

Amit Shah on Wednesday tweeted saying India shall be safe and emerge victorious in this fight against COVID-19 because of your (health workers and people engaged in essential services) selfless toil and sacrifice.

New Delhi:Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday said that India stands united in its fight against COVID-19.

"In this valiant battle for the future of humanity, corona warriors are at the forefront. I salute them for their selfless service," Shah tweeted.

Shah said that India shall be safe and emerge victorious in this fight against COVID-19 because of your (health workers and people engaged in essential services) selfless toil and sacrifice.

"Placing yourself at great risk, as doctors, nurses, paramedics, sanitation workers, police personnel, essential supplies workers, bank staff and government employees, you have ensured that we remain safe and comfortable and are all well taken care of.

You have tirelessly and with deep dedication displayed an unshakable faith and conviction that Corona can be defeated," said Shah in his message.

Shah said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the country has united in tackling COVID-19.

"Citizens from all walks of life have come together in carrying out their part and responsibilities," said Shah.
